Max’s Binge-Watch Pick Is Country Cool
We’re back with a new guest tastemaker for some quick-fire questions and a mini-curation of some fab Chairish finds!
The career path of Portland-based interior designer Max Humphrey is the stuff of legends. Following a career in TV and film production, Max embarked on a legit #vanlife, touring as a bass player in the punk rock band The Adored before launching his third act as an interior designer and opening his firm Max Humphrey in 2016. Since becoming a designer, Max has since been filling homes with his elevated take on Pacific Northwest casual (and a whole lotta Pendleton fabulousness, we might add!) He’s also made a name for himself as a commercial-designing superstar and has racked up projects as varied as food trucks, tasting rooms, and podcast studios. Equipped with a guiding philosophy that style is about knowing who you are (and emphatically not giving a damn), Max is the kind of designer we can’t help but root for. A devotee of Ralph Lauren, patchwork quilts, and all things Nashville, Max lets us in on a few more of his favorites, and not-so favorites.
