My Favorite Workout Routine (10 Minutes, No Equipment)

I don't know about you, but the moment I get home from work, I am absolutely itching to get some cleaning done around my house, finish odds and ends tasks I told myself at work I'd do as soon as possible, and of course prep food for dinner. Throw in some much-needed weekly errands, and I've got an exhausting night ahead of me. So when I think of the fact that I should really be getting in a few workouts per week, it makes me frustrated. Or at least it used to until I found something that really worked for me.

Alyssia of Mind Over Munch is one of my favorite fitness and healthy lifestyle YouTubers. And she has created a collection of quick no-nonsense workout routines for training certain parts of your body or utilizing gym equipment. But this 10-minute no-equipment bootcamp was the one that changed the way I saw my workout routine. In just 10 minutes, I sweat hard and I work out my entire body. And when I'm done, I feel good knowing that after a quick shower, I have my evening all to myself. Sometimes I even do it in my own living room. It's that convenient. 

And how convenient it is, combined with how quickly I can get it over-with makes me dread it way less than any other workout routine I've had. In the video below, Alyssia even teaches you more difficult ways to do each exercise so that as you get better at it, you can challenge yourself more and more.

And ask your partner or roommate if they'd like to join you for a round! It's even more fun when you do it with someone else.
