Salt and Pepper Shakers

BY YAHALOMIS

When Steven and I first moved in together, one of the first things I found via Pinterest that I knew I had to have were these salt and pepper shakers from ceramic design studio Yahalomis in Tel Aviv, Israel. They specialize in gorgeous Judaica items, and have a selection of decor and home goods. And when I saw how sleek and minimalistic this set made every tablescape look, I was absolutely stuck on them. I knew that no other set could measure up in my eyes. And we have loved these for coming up on three years!

If I had to give feedback on them, I’ll admit that these shakers are very top heavy. Any slight bump into the top of them can knock them over. And we have definitely had our close calls where we worried that we’d break them. But so far they haven’t even cracked. They also hold a large amount of salt and pepper, and therefore don’t require frequent refills. I recommending using a metal tool to remove the plastic plug that keeps the shakers sealed shut. Overall, this set of shakers is very enjoyable to use, and look even better in person than they do online. They were worth every penny to us, and we are so happy to use them for years to come.
