Anne Carr Designs From The Outside In

We’re back with a new guest tastemaker for some quick-fire questions and a mini-curation of some fab Chairish finds!

This week we are joined by Anne Carr of Anne Carr Design. This Los Angeles-based designer started her career in finance, making the switch to interior design after discovering her passion for home renovation. Anne aims to combine her knowledge of traditional East Coast aesthetics with the innovative sensibilities of West Coast living. And being that she’s a Greenwich Connecticut native, she takes full advantage of the weather, nature, and landscape surrounding the homes of her California clientele. Her design process involves building out homes to utilize the natural light and beauty from the exterior, to create a luxe indoor-outdoor effect. One of her sunny designs can even be seen in a video by the popular Mom blog and YouTube channel, WhatsUpMoms.

Read on to find out what she’d name her autobiography — a nod to her exciting career shift — and the big risk she took that resulted in an even greater reward.

What would be the title of your autobiography?
“It’s Never Too Late to Start Over”

What’s a current trend you hope doesn’t exist in 100 years?
