Giuseppe's Holiday Gift Guide
For those still looking to get their pup in the holiday spirit, Giuseppe and I have curated a list of our favorite winter finds. Some Christmas-themed, and some which are year-round staples. We are always on the lookout for quality pieces, and we hope that this list - which contains gifts for every budget - makes playing Santa Paws a breeze. Enjoy!
Kapsula Down Jacket | I Love My Dog
I wanted to include this jacket in this list because I’ve been getting a lot of questions about where I got it. I haven’t found a vendor in the USA who carries it, but I was able to find it on the manufacturer’s Italian website.
Steven picked out the jacket in the color Alpine Green, and Giuseppe is wearing a size Medium. We recommend sizing up, as he normally wears a Small.
Holiday 2021 | The Foggy Dog
The Foggy Dog outdid themselves this year with a great range of plaids and holiday prints on bows, bandanas, and collars. Our personal favorite pattern is the tartan plaid. All bows and bandanas are of course gender-neutral; however, the difference between the Lady Bow and the Bow Tie is that the Lady Bow features tails, which make your pup look like a present!
And for the lover of aesthetics who needs their entire walk set to match their dog’s collar and accessories (I’m with you there), they also have leashes and poo bag dispensers that match their holiday collection. And their solid coloring makes them perfect for year-round use. We purchased this combo of leash and poo bag dispenser in both black and beige when we first got Giuseppe, and they have since become our go-to leash sets for long walks and travel.
Holiday Treats | Bocce’s Bakery
What I love about Bocce’s Bakery is how easily I can find them in stores. I’ve been able to shop for them at local dog boutiques, Target, Amazon, or the Bocce’s Bakery website. It makes me so happy that I can pick up treats I trust for my little guy at any time. And when it comes to the holidays, this is the easiest way to get your pup into the Christmas spirit. Cold-Weather Gear | Max Bone
I’ve always loved MaxBone’s winter collections. They boast beautiful holiday sweaters, ski ensembles and cold weather essentials such as their balaclavas (which I recommend to those whose pup has floppy or fluffy ears.) They do sell out frequently, so if the item you love is not available at the moment I do apologize. However, Max Bone is always restocking their pieces, so I recommend checking back!

The Pet Carrier | Away
Now onto a gift for the pup on the go. This is the pet carrier Giuseppe will be traveling in when we visit my folks this Christmas. It’s high quality and sturdy enough to protect your pup, and features include: Mesh paneling for ventilation, a top and side exit, a shearling bed on the inside, and a hook to attach to your dog’s harness. Double Kismet Dog Bowl | EyeSwoon
This season, Athena Calderone of EyeSwoon designed a dog bowl with The Wooden Palate, which her dog Tuco - one of Giuseppe’s favorite influencers - has been dining from ever since. Hand-crafted in oak, this Kismet dog bowl is the ultimate in canine luxury.
There are a few variations of this bowl including 3 wood finishes, single or double bowl configurations, the choice of metal or ceramic bowls, and the option for engraving.
